Cranial Nerves

There are twelve cranial nerves.  They are the (1) olfactory, (2) optic, (3) occulomotor, (4) trochlear, (5) trigeminal, (6) abducens, (7) facial, (8) vestibulocochlear, (9) glossopharyngial, (10) vagus, (11) accessory and (12) hypoglossal.  A helpful mnemonic to remember these names is; Oh, Oh, Oh, To Touch And Feel Very Green Vegetables AH. Each has sensory, motor or both sensory and motor functions.  A very useful way of remembering which nerve is motor and which is sensory use, "Some Say Marry Money But My Brother Says Big Boobs Matter More".
